Aaron Whalen

Building Designer

B. Arch. Sci.

An explorer and creator, Aaron’s design narrative spawned from an early age. Scribbles turned three-dimensional just as sand castles turned into built form.

After completing a BA in Architectural Science from Ryerson University, Aaron’s adventurous spirit took him to Israel to build upon his skills and gain a new perception of architecture and world culture. Bringing this experience back, Aaron has melded his skills towards a diversity of projects from high-end residential to large-scale institutional spanning Ontario and Alberta before coming to British Columbia in 2014. Aaron is a passionate designer, and loves to produce exciting 3D visualizations.

Outside of the studio, Aaron lives a healthy and adventurous lifestyle filled with mountain biking, backcountry exploration and snowboarding, all while being mindful of his carbon footprint.
